Dallas Mavericks (45-28) are on the road facing the Minnesota Timberwolves (42-32) tonight at 7:00 PM CT.
The NBA can be the worst for injuries and its not the injury I am referring to I mean the report takes forever. Sometimes up until tip-off before you know if the player your counting on will suit up. The Mavericks are a tricky team to bet on the road. However, the T’wolves are at home and there best player Karl Anthony Towns is nursing a right forearm contusion.
Both teams even each other out at covering the spread. The edge is found in the place most overlooked. Tonight it’s defense and the Mavericks have the better unit. A good defense should travel. The way they do it is by slowing the pace down. Which is why this game is so interesting. T’wolves number one in pace factor and Mavericks are dead last. That is a real edge with 3.5 points on the table at a dream price.
The beautiful thing about handicapping a game is your not picking a winning team. We need the Mavericks to drag the T’Wolves into the mud with them. I believe they will tonight and cash this best bet for the Odd Man Out faithful.
