Preston’s Monkey Knife Fight Picks for Blue Jays vs. Nationals

Contest Type: MORE OR LESS (3x)

GOAL: 2/2

Alex Manoah OVER 5.5 K’s – Manoah is coming off an impressive performance against the Angels 6 days ago where he tossed 11 K’s. From July until now Manoah is holding opposing teams below a .200 batting average. He has some quality pitches that the Nationals bats will chase tonight. Tonight we are looking for 6 K’s for Manoah against a Nationals batting order that has never faced him. Giving an edge to the pitcher.

Erick Fedde OVER 3.5 K’s – Fedde is an underrated pitcher. He doesn’t wow you with his arsenal. However, he has some pitches that teams simply have a hard time locating. Last time out against the Blue Jays on April 28th, 2021 Fedde threw 7 K’s. WE don’t even need close to that tonight. 4 K’s is all he has to muster up to meet his goal. That is asking a lot against a Blue Jays team that ranks 2nd in team strikeout %. In all actuality Nationals do not want to send the relief in early. Fedde is in a spot where he has no choice but to bring his A-game tonight.
