UFC on ESPN 26 – Makhachev vs. Moises: Preston’s Precise Picks+Parlay

An 11-fight card pops off tonight for the UFC headlined by Makhachev vs. Moises!

First leg of tonight’s 2 Leg Parlay we have Daniel Rodriquez (14-2) up against Preston Parsons (9-2) who is stepping in on short notice. First put some respect on the name Preston alright. This guy is a legit submission artist. However, he is in the worst possible scenario for a short notice fight against D-Rod. Preston has heart though; I will give him that.

D-Rod nearly lands 8 significant strikes per minute with 48% accuracy. Showing us UFC fans that he is active on his feet and letting his hands fly. Preston’s only hope is that he can find a tricky submission to lock in. However, D-Rod is a solid grappler and I’m willing to bet he won’t let it come to that.

First Leg of Parlay: Daniel Rodriquez ML (-335)

For the last leg of tonight’s Parlay we have Mateusz Gamrot (18-1-1NC) vs. Jeremy Stephens (28-18-1NC). This fight can easily turn into a barn burner fast.

Stephens has had a bad string of fights but always a crowd favorite he will look to put on a show. Gamrot is a high-level striker. Fast and accurate but good at avoiding taking damage. Gamrot walked down Scott Holtzman last time out. Stephens is moving up in weight to continue his MMA career.

This is my pick for fight of the night. I am siding with Gamrot and his skill set to get the job done against Stephens tonight.

Last Leg of Parlay: Mateusz Gamrot ML (-225)

Combined Odds for Preston’s Parlay (-114)
