UFC on ESPN 21 – Holland vs. Brunson ‘Preston’s Precise Picks+Best Bet’

The Line: Trevin Giles (-108) v Roman Dolidze (-108)

A true Pick’em fight! Outside looking in this would appear to be the second best fight on the entire card behind the main event. A case can be made for either fighter to win and that’s what makes this fight exhilarating!

Trevin Giles 13-2 is sharp on his feet and incredibly skilled at avoiding damage. Roman Dolidze 8-0 is a powerhouse that was fighting heavier opponents before hand and enters this bout with a size advantage. Giles has struggled against opponents with a size advantage in the past.

Both fighters striking is polished; averaging almost 4 strikes landed per minute a piece. Dolidze has a 2″ reach and height advantage. That will at times put Giles in an awkward position; as he enjoys fighting from a distance.

If Giles is able to get to Dolidze enough; Dolidze also has a grappling advantage. Averaging 2.5 takedowns per 15 minutes opposed to Giles 1.45 takedowns. Dolidze averages 2.3 submissions per 15 minutes opposed to Giles 0.2 submission attempts.

Preston’s Best Bet: Roman Dolidze ML (-108)
