Initial takeaways from NASCAR’s Dixie Vodka 400 – Homestead Miami Race 6/14/2020

Best paint scheme goes too … Chase Elliott!

Denny Hamlin was dominant in the Toyota winning in Miami. Chase Elliott finished 2nd in the Chevrolet and Ryan Blaney finished 3rd in the Ford. All 3 drivers battled for position in the top 3 a majority of the night.

Alex Bowman in the Chevrolet was strong in the first two stages but didn’t look like he had the right setup to pull away on the restarts and finished 18th after starting 8th.

Aric Almirola in the Ford looks like he is getting back on track finishing 5th.

Kyle Busch in the Toyota hasn’t made it to the finish line this cup season but is edging closer. Finishing 6th.

Kevin Harvick in the Ford fell off at the end of this race similar to his Martinsville performance. Expect him to get back on track this week after starting 7th and finishing 26th in Miami.

Tyler Reddick in the Chevrolet is going to be my sleeper pick for a top 3 finish this week. He finished 4th in Miami and is trending up.
